It’s the examination season for Hannah again.

For the past few weeks, both Christine and myself spent a lot of time preparing her for her examination.

There were moments when Hannah was less than thrilled with the extended hours of revision and disruption of her normal play routine. It was however necessary as sometimes we could see that she was ill-prepared in some areas of her school work. With her willingness to put in the effort, she is better prepared for today, the first day of her examination.

As much as we love Hannah and prepare her for her examinations, God too loves us and continuously prepare us for the ‘examinations’ that He sees ahead of us. The preparation is sometimes unpleasant because it takes us out of our comfort zone. But He perseveres with the training and we will be better prepared for our ‘examinations’ if we do our part to learn His lessons.
