A FAMILY AFFAIR @ CAMP 2009

image It’s time for a counter-culture revolution to reclaim our families for God!  Amidst the faithless generation and in these challenging times, it is our desire to train a generation of children to stand up for their belief in God.  Their tools will be Prayer, the Word of God and a Life of Commitment.

The Jesudasans are a family with over 20 years experience working with children in New York (with Metro Ministry), Myanmar, East Malaysia, Thailand and other parts of SEA (recently China). They have run a wide range of children and youth camps and rallies. They are empowered by God to affirm and train little ones by positive reinforcement, dynamic praise & worship, interactive Bible story telling, character building games and creative artwork.

Kevin and Lillian will be running the children’s programme at our upcoming church camp, and If you have not registered, there is still time to do so today.  We would encourage you to sign up – do not miss out on this opportunity!

Church Camp 2009

Praise to our God. Following on from our successful 2008 church camp, this years’ camp theme is Kingdom Impact in Changing Times. This is both timely & relevant in today’s turbulent global economy. Join us at this year camp, where as we stay together, worship together, play together, eat together & together study His word, we will have the opportunity to work out how together as a church we can overcome these challenges.

For this year’s campsite, the organizing committee has selected the new 5 star Holiday Inn Hotel, Malacca, located on the beautiful waterfront facing the Straits of Malacca and yet not too far away from KL – 2+ hours’ drive. This lovely hotel offers amenities for everyone young and old such as a formless swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa & gym, etc. And it is located next to many eateries and a shopping mall.  Being a family camp, we cater to the needs of different age groups. Apart from Pastor Ooi Chin Aik to address the adults and parents, Dr Allen Teh, our team building coach, will use state of the art rhythm drums for the young and old to work together as a cohesive body for Christ at St. Andrew‘s. This is to build Christian Soldiers to rhythm. We rejoice that you can join us to study God’s word and have fun together for a mini church camp for one night and two days in exotic Malacca.

Venue: Holiday Inn Malacca

Date: 29th to 30th August 2009

Speaker: Pastor Ooi Chin Aik
